Neon Drift Rally

Neon Drift Rally is pure arcade joy. Forget realistic physics, this is about chaining drifts through neon-lit corners and hitting boost at exactly the right time. The handling is forgiving enough that beginners can have fun, but mastering the drift chains takes real practice.

Tracks are short and punchy, ideal for one-more-race sessions. We especially liked the tilt steering option, though the on-screen buttons worked fine too. Car upgrades change the feel noticeably, and finding a setup that matches your driving style is half the fun.

The soundtrack deserves a mention, it fits the aesthetic perfectly and genuinely pushes you to drive faster. There's no ugly grind gating the good cars, which we were relieved to find.

What we liked

• Drift-focused handling that's easy to learn, hard to master
• Short punchy tracks great for quick sessions
• Great soundtrack and clean neon visuals
