Emberfall Legends

Emberfall Legends is the kind of RPG that eats your evenings. You build a party of four, each with their own skill tree, and the turn-based fights reward planning far more than button mashing. We lost a few boss battles simply because we ignored elemental weaknesses, and that felt fair rather than cheap.

The world map opens up gradually and there's real satisfaction in unlocking a new region. Side quests are more than fetch tasks too, some of them have little branching choices that change a character's dialogue later. Auto-battle exists for grinding, but the manual combat is where the fun lives.

Progression is generous without being trivial. You'll always have something to upgrade, and the crafting system gives a reason to revisit older zones. It runs well even on mid-range phones, which is a nice bonus for a game this dense.
